The American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana is currently seeking an Outreach Assistant to assist the Multicultural Information eXchange (MIX) program of the local Red Cross. The ideal individual has excellent writing, typing, reading, and speaking skills in the Burmese and English languages; knowledge of Karen is considered a plus. Also, the ideal individual will have good public speaking skills since key responsibilities include not only translating and interpreting, but also presenting on disaster preparedness and performing American Red Cross CPR/First Aid training within the community.
